Instructions for Installing Fonts
Windows 7 and later
- Download the windows fonts and
extract them, noting what folder they are extracted to.
- Copy those fonts to the
\\windows\fonts
folder.
- Open one of these fonts to verify they are
installed.
Macintosh
To install the BW Fonts onto your Macintosh computer, follow these steps:
- Download the fonts' self-extracting archive to your hard disk by clicking
on the Mac font link on the font resources pages. (This usually places the
archive directly in the main directory on your hard disk. If it is not there
after downloading, either (1) look on your desktop for the archive, or (2)
check in your browser's "Preferences" to locate the "Downloads directory" or
(3) use Find File [command-f from the Finder] to locate the archive on your
disk.)
- Double-click on [archive name here] and save the BW Fonts folder to your
hard disk.
- Open the BW Fonts folder and drag both the BWGreek and BWHebrew font
suitcases onto your closed system folder. You'll be asked if you wish to put
the suitcases in your fonts folder, so click on "Yes". (If you are not
prompted, you may be using a pre-7.0 operating system, and you must
double-click on the system folder to open it, then drag the suitcases into the
"Fonts" folder manually.)
When you are finished:
You should be able to see the following lines in Hebrew
and Greek:
hwhy ~veäB. aB'h; %WråB'
Euvloghme,noj o` evrco,menoj evn ovno,mati
kuri,ou
Do the Hebrew and Greek fonts look like
Hebrew and Greek?
They do? "Blessed is he who
comes in the name Yahuwah"!
